Game Rules — Happy 8 (KL8)
The official rules of the Happy 8 (KL8) scheduled-draw game offered by Lottorbit: how to enter, how draws are conducted, how prizes are determined and paid, and how disputes are handled.
1. The Game
Happy 8 (KL8) ("KL8" or "the Game") is a scheduled-draw lottery game in which a player selects between 1 and 10 numbers from a field of80. Each draw produces 20 winning numbers, and the number of matches between the player's selection and the drawn numbers determines whether the wager wins and, if so, the applicable prize tier.
Binding Rules
2. Eligibility to Play
- You must hold an active, verified Lottorbit account and be at least 18 years old.
- You must not be subject to any self-exclusion, cool-off or account restriction under our Responsible Gaming Policy or AML/KYC Policy.
- Each wager is made by you for your own account; wagers placed on behalf of third parties are void.
3. How to Enter — Number Selection
From the numbers 1 through 80, you select between 1 and 10 numbers per line (the "selection"). The size of your selection determines the "Pick type" (Pick 1 through Pick 10) and the prize tiers available to that wager. You may submit multiple lines on a single ticket.
- Manual selection: you choose your numbers directly on the digital grid.
- Quick-Pick (RNG): the platform's certified Random Number Generator selects a set of numbers for you. Quick-Pick output is generated at the moment of purchase and is not pre-determined.
The standard price per line is $2.00, denominated and settled in US Dollars (USD). Each wager applies to a single draw; a multi-draw option may be offered in a future release. To play the same selection in another draw, submit a separate wager for that draw.
4. Draw Schedule and Sales Cutoff
KL8 uses scheduled draws. A new draw is conducted every 4 minutes, with fixed open, close and draw times published for every sales window so that all players participate on the same cadence.
- Sales open: the window during which a wager may be submitted for a given draw.
- Sales close (cutoff): the fixed deadline after which no further wagers are accepted for that draw.
- Draw time: the moment the winning numbers are generated.
A wager is valid only if it is submitted, accepted and paid for before the cutoff of the relevant draw. The platform is not responsible for wagers that fail to be submitted before the cutoff due to network delay, system failure, or user error.
5. Conduct of the Draw — Randomness and Integrity
Winning numbers are produced by a certified, aws-lc-rs-backed random number generator that draws 20 of 80 numbers for each draw. The RNG is generated and signed inside the engine, and its output cannot be predicted, replayed, or manipulated externally. There is no seed that is reusable or replayable; each draw's randomness is independent.
The draw process is auditor-verifiable. Once the winning numbers are published they are final and binding.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Once the closing countdown for a draw has begun, purchased tickets for that draw can no longer be revoked or cancelled.
- If a draw is rescheduled for any reason, all valid tickets automatically roll forward to the new draw time with no action required from you.
- If a technical fault or service interruption prevents a draw from proceeding normally, all unsettled wagers for that draw are voided and the corresponding stake is refunded in full to your main wallet balance immediately.
7. Determination of Prizes
For each line, the number of matches between your selection and the 20 drawn numbers is counted. The match count, combined with your Pick type, determines the prize tier. The full prize hierarchy (Pick 1 through Pick 10) is published in the interactive Prize Hierarchy table and is updated when the platform publishes tier values.
- Fixed tiers pay a stated amount per unit wagered, regardless of the total pool.
- Floating tiers pay a share of the applicable prize pool, calculated by dividing the pool by the number of winning units at that tier.
All prizes are denominated and settled in US Dollars (USD). Where more than one prize tier applies to a single line, only the highest applicable tier is paid.
8. Payout and Prize Claims
- Smaller prizes are credited automatically to your wallet balance per platform rules, typically shortly after settlement.
- Larger prizes (including tiers requiring manual review) must be confirmed through the review process and may involve tax reporting and identity verification.
- Prize claims must be submitted within the validity period defined by the platform. Late claims are forfeited.
- The platform may withhold, deduct or report tax on prizes in accordance with applicable law.
9. Disputes
If you believe a draw, settlement or payout was conducted incorrectly, you must notify the platform via the Help Center without undue delay and no later than the period stated in the Terms. The platform's records of the draw, RNG output and settlement are conclusive evidence of the outcome absent a demonstrable error.
10. Amendments
The platform reserves the right to amend these Game Rules at any time. Amended rules take effect from the date they are published on the platform and apply to all draws conducted on or after that date. Continued play after an amendment constitutes acceptance of the amended rules.
